I grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio near Cleveland with my parents, younger brother and sister, and my nanny Evie. For my entire schooling I went to Laurel an all girls school where I was involved in theater and golf. When I was younger I was also a figure skater. As I grew older I became involved in events working to help my mother put on events for her company as well as family events until I was able to get a job in the events world.
At 18 I start working for Sammy?s Catering as they let me work in Accounting and HR as well as on site, but truly apprenticing to learn all sides of the business. I did this for 3 years when I wasn?t in school until they closed their doors. I was an English major with creative writing focus as well as marketing and history minors at the University of Denver. While I was in school I joined a business fraternity called Alpha Kappa Psi that allowed for students to learn crucial business skills such as resume and cover letter writing, etiquette, networking, as well as providing leadership opportunities. Through this organization I acted as Treasurer, VP of Operations, and eventually President.
While I was in school and after I graduated I also worked for Destination Services Corporation as a Program Coordinator. I eventually found Fun Productions through meeting their former Sales Director at a NACE event and started as their sales assistant.
Currently I?ve been at Fun Productions 3 years and am now the Sales Director. I?ve also since joined the NACE board as the Director of Awards. In my spare time I?m a big movie goer (about 2-4 times a month) and love getting up to the mountains.
